Ella made her first of many trips to New York City last week and proved herself to be a traveler in training -- she's her mama's daughter! She took a ride to the top of the Empire State Building, shopped at Macy's, rode the Central Park Carousel, and even spotted Mike Meyers on a side street in SoHo. We recommend traveling with a baby. Ella got us seats on the train, good vantage points at the Today Show, an early check-in time at the hotel, shorter lines at airport security, and throngs of well wishers asking to peak at the baby as they wished God's blessings on her. One candy store clerk even retrieved a fallen pacifier and made a special trip to the back room to clean it for her.
