As her vocabulary slowly starts to emerge, its interesting to see which words Ella latches on to. All last week, every time I went to put her in her chair to eat, she'd say "ogur" over and over. (Translation: Yogurt) Its one of her meal time favorites.
This week she seems to be trying to take her assumed "rightful" spot as boss of the cats. After having watched me yell "get" or "stop" to our felines on multiple occasions when they are in or on things they're not supposed to be, this week, every time they come near her, she points to them, scrunches her face, and yells "Gop"! Perhaps her own shortcut to yelling both "get" and "stop". If they don't respond to her command, she crawls over to them, bangs on their hind quarters with her fist, and yells "Gop" even louder. Just now, I saved Lucy by mere inches from being yanked by her tail from her window seat where she perches each day, as Ella yelled "Gop" at the top of her lungs and pounded her other fist on the bench. Watch out kitties, she means business!
