Sneak Preview

Ella and Pat decided long ago that she would be a butterfly for Halloween, and she insisted that if she was a butterfly then her brother should a caterpillar. When I asked her why he had to be caterpillar, she replied "So people will know how I got to be a butterfly."

We completed her costume just in time for her to debut it at ZooBoo yesterday.



Conrad is, obviously, less than happy that he didn't get to wear his costume. His costume was designed for a chilly fall evening, not an 80 degree afternoon at the zoo. The forecast for next week's Trick or Treating looks more favorable for a fuzzy warm caterpillar.
