Preparations

Santa had to change his route to make sure he visited Ella in Louisville this year. But, just like any hospitable hostess, she took the preparations for his visit very seriously.

Reindeer Food (her own secret recipe of oats, sprinkles, crushed M&M's, and cheerios) was sprinkled on the lawn.

A thank you note to Santa, cookies she decorated herself, and a glass of milk. (Yes, the milk was added later!)

And off to bed for Christmas cartoons with Susie.

Conrad thought the reindeer food was nonsense, but he did stop in for some cartoons before bedtime.
