There are many reasons that we don't want to leave this neighborhood, but I think tops on Ella's list would be the fact that the town parades practically go right by our house. When one parade is over, she begins the countdown to the next one. This was the school's homecoming parade. Ella, of course, loved the candy. Conrad preferred the marching band and school buses. (Note: When attending a parade hosted by school employees, standing next to the Director of HR for the district and her kids is a great locale for getting LOTS of candy.)
