We are all excited to see Conrad stringing some steps together, but no one is more proud than Conrad himself. Every time he completes a few steps, he applauds and cheers for himself, even when no one is around.
Ella, who has carefully watched every activity Conrad's physical therapists have done with him over the past 10 months, probably deserves some of the credit. She coaches him daily, and cheers the loudest when he does something new.
On Wednesday, Conrad will have tubes put in and his adenoids removed. With walking on the horizon and the hope of less infections ahead, we're feeling optimistic.
