We ran downtown this afternoon to catch the pistols exhibit at the Eiteljorg before they put them away tomorrow. We took advantage of the museum's really beautiful grounds for a picnic before going inside.
Inside the museum, the kids were suitably impressed by the guns, and that's about it. Conrad only liked paintings with animals in them ("mowh amals"), and Ella just wanted to know where the arts and crafts area was (like they have at the art museum). All was well when we found the stagecoach in the basement, and a coon skin hat in the gift shop.
