Ella has moved up to a bigger field, and after playing two quarters on offense she was worn out. She looked good out there though. Fun to watch her progression over the past few seasons.
Conrad. Oh Conrad. He was pretty much as you'd expect him to be out there. Very excited, not always compliant, and a little overly aggressive. After the third quarter, he turned to all of the parents sitting on the sidelines and yelled "I WON!" even though his team had yet to score and the game wasn't over yet. Could be an interesting season. He does kick the ball pretty well, so maybe he'll surprise us yet.
Ella and Nia spent their Sunday afternoon on the corner of our country road selling Lemonade. I've long told Ella that there isn't enough traffic out here to sell lemonade. They proved me wrong when they came in this evening with nearly $30 in hand.
The cooler temperatures and grass that is now green again rounded out a pretty good weekend.
